Communications can be mysterious and overwhelming at times.  Especially when you watch TV and movies and their comms always works.  Unfortunately, comms in the real world can fail for many reasons.  This is why I have decided to start at the basics and keep the videos short.  In today's YouTube, I talked about a few resources available for you to begin your journey through the mysterious realm of communications. I started you off learning to take the Technician Class Exam which is the first step of earning your Amateur (Ham) Radio License.  Communications is so much more than radios; it is a system of things, tools, and capabilities.  Your radio is useless without an antenna, a charged battery, or the knowledge of the proper frequency to operate on.
